I took the day off from work to spend some time at the range and make use of the renovated upper range at the West End Gun Club.
I brought out a couple boxes of Eley Ultra Extreme Gen 2 Long Range which is the revised version of the Ultra Extreme Long Range ammo that was released in the Summer of 2024 that had very poor performance reported by most who tried it.
I had no intention of really trying this ammo again, but since I had store credit with Killough Shooting Sports (KSS), who is the primary distributor of Eley in the United States, I picked up some of the Gen 2 ammo.
I also brought out my Aero Precision Solus with the Aero 20″ 1-10 twist .308 Winchester barrel for some centerfire practice, as well as put some more confirmation / test rounds downrange with the Defiance 7mm PRC build.
