End of summer?

Hopefully I don’t jinx it by talking about it, but it looks like summer in Riverside is coming to an end. Today it topped only 74F degrees and I actually wore a sportcoat for the first time since May. If weather.com is an accurate indicator, it looks like high-70s and low-80s for the next 10 days. Could this mean a long and cold winter for SoCal? Maybe so. I’m looking forward to one. I like it a bit chilly in the winter. It’s a break from the hot Inland Empire summer. Plus, I hate it when it’s 80F degrees on Christmas day.
