This is the 5th year of the Mason Valley Steel Hunter match of the NRL Hunter series.
Unlike previous years of cold, windy, and wet weather, this year’s weather was in the low 80Fs with some wind. Without any shade, it got pretty warm in the SoCal sun and water was a must.
I decided to put all 18 stages in this vlog, which makes for a very long video. I have utilized the YouTube chapter system so you can breeze through each segment.
Spoiler: I continued my streak of not shooting very well and I am disappointed in my inability to improve upon my average. I am seeing flaws in my current processes and abilities for NRL Hunter and need to take more deliberate efforts to focus to close these gaps. I am also considering not recording footage because it is one more distraction that is inserted into my process of shooting a stage (and the match) that takes away from the actual shooting.
