I headed out to the range early in the morning of the July 4th holiday to beat the crowd and heat so I could try out my rebuilt 10/22. I swapped out the Ruger 10/22 factory receiver for a KIDD receiver (along with KIDD bolt and other internals) in order to get a rock solid action fitment in the KRG Bravo chassis with the KIDD rear tang screw.
However, I realized there was an issue with the rifle rocking up and down in the KRG Bravo chassis even with the rear tang screw.
I decided to stop shooting the 10/22 for troubleshooting at home (and I eventually figured out the issue which was a simple fix) and went on to shoot my SIG Sauer P365 to try out the Athlon Rangecraft Velocity Pro chronograph with centerfire pistol.
Stay tuned for the next range VLOG to learn about what the issue was regarding my 10/22 rebuild and chassis fitment, or you can check out an Instagram post I published – https://instagram.com/ocabj – to find out sooner.
I hope to sneak out to the range very soon to continue testing my rebuilt 10/22.
