Range Vlog #378 – 2026-09-08

I went to the range on an early Tuesday morning following the Labor Day holiday weekend. I was sick throughout the weekend because I caught a cold or other cold-like illness at a work conference the week prior.

I wanted to hit the range even though I’m still not 100% because I wanted to try out the SIG ECHO MV50 LRF thermal monocular. It is a thermal monocular with a built-in laser rangefinder and I wanted to try it out at the range in the dark.

I also wanted to try shooting off the Strong Hand Tripod Attachment by Dialed in Designs. It is a way to shoot off the leg of a tripod as front support, while also using another leg of that same tripod for rear support.
