Range Vlog #385 – 2026-10-30 to 2026-11-01

• Date: 30 October to 01 November 2026
• Range: Private Property (Temecula, CA)

Warning: Even though I did not include all the stages (coverage of 13 out of 18 stages), this is a long Range VLOG episode, as it also includes an After Action Report at the end.

Note: I have utilized the YouTube chapter system so you can breeze through each segment.

This is the first year of PRSuit, which is the Precision Rifle Series take on NRL Hunter, and is also the first PRSuit match in Southern California and this location in Temecula. It is only a 50 to 75 min drive from my residence, depending on traffic, so this match venue is very convenient as I do not have to get a hotel room or put up with a long drive.

This match is a bit different as they had 4 min 30 sec stage times. The extra 30 secs was allotted so that participants could shoot the Monster targets (Halloween theme side match). I did not partake in this side match (extra fee for entry).

I ran my NRL Hunter Open Light Rig – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKOF0hqQrhA – and brought out three new pieces of kit:

1. Leica Geovid Max 10×42 rangefinding binoculars by @leicasportopticshunting
2. Strong Hand tripod attachment by @danielcribbs7312
3. Short Bus Precision Talking Timer by @ClintFixShooting

I turned in a mid-pack performance which I was content with given I am not good at blind stage matches. Finding targets is still a weakness I need to overcome.
