Range Vlog #193 – 2022-10-12

  • Date: 12 October 2022
  • Range: West End Gun Club (Meyers Canyon, CA)

Another mid-week range session on a day off from work. I re-zeroed the 10/22 after mounting the Zero Compromise Optic ZC527 MPCT3, which has been sitting unused for the past several months. Also, chronograph tested a new lot of Eley Semi-Auto .22LR Benchrest Precision ammunition after acquiring a few more bricks of it.

After fully cleaning my Vudoo V-22 bore, I seasoned the barrel and discovered a possible root cause for the fliers, with the good news being that my battery is almost certainly fine.

Furthermore, I finally have the Kestrel KST-1000 after a long wait since seeing it at the 2022 SHOT Show, ordering it on the first day of availability in August, and a long lead-time until it actually shipped.

I had the same issue with the rimfire Bravo stocks, the KRG Rimfire Tool-less LOP is a cheap and effective solution
